The core stealing loop
Stealing eggs is the heart of the game: find a nest, grab the egg, and sprint it back to your base pen before a guardian or rival player catches you. The skill is not in the grab — it is in the route. Always measure the trip home before you commit to a heavy egg.
Biome route sheet
Use the table below to plan which biome to hit at your current Speed. Target Speed is the safe 2x margin, not the hard gate.
| Biome | Hard Gate | Safe Speed | Guardian | Risk | Eggs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Meadow Ridge (Forest) | None | 10+ Speed | None (Training Grounds) | Low | Starter Egg, Meadow Egg |
| Lake | Speed 900 | 1,800+ Speed (2x Margin) | Swan (Lake Guardian) | Low-Medium | Meadow Egg, Rare Egg |
| Desert | Speed 5,000 | 10,000+ Speed | Camel & Giant Scorpion | Medium | Rare Egg, Epic Egg, Mythic Egg (chests / race) |
| Jungle | Speed 45,000 | 90,000+ Speed | Bengal Tiger | Medium-High | Chicken Egg, Rare Egg, Epic Egg |
| Snow (Tundra) | Speed 100,000 | 200,000+ Speed | Frost Mammoth & Yeti | High | Epic Egg, Mythic Egg |
| Prehistoric | Speed 300,000 | 600,000+ Speed | T-Rex (Tyrannosaurus) | High | Epic Egg, Mythic Egg |
| Volcano (Lava Ridge) | Speed 700,000 | 1,400,000+ Speed (1.4M) | Hellhound (Cerberus Beast) | Very High | Lava Egg, Mythic Egg |
| Storm Peaks | Speed 1.5M | 3,000,000+ Speed (3.0M) | Thunderbird (Storm Raptor) | Very High | Cosmic Egg, Lava Egg, Mythic Egg |
| Abyss Ocean | Speed 2.5M | 5,000,000+ Speed (5.0M) | Moby (Leviathan Whale) | Extreme | Cosmic Egg, Mythic Egg |

Guardian evasion tips
- Time the patrol: every guardian has a predictable loop. Dash during its reset window, not against it.
- Leave a return buffer: a heavy egg slows you. If the trip home pushes you below the catch threshold, you will get ragdolled — drop the egg or pick a lighter one.
- Never enter at the gate: always clear the 2x Speed margin before risking real eggs.
- Practice in Meadow Ridge: no guardians there, so it is the safest place to learn the feel of the loop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the 2x speed safety rule?
Never enter a biome at exactly its speed gate. Always aim for roughly double the required Speed so that carrying a heavy egg (which slows you) still keeps you above the guardian catch threshold. At the Lake, for example, that means 1,800 Speed instead of the 900 gate.
How do I avoid guardians when stealing eggs?
Learn each biome guardian patrol pattern in a safe biome first, time your dash during their cooldown, and keep a return buffer — measure the route, leave margin to get back, and repeat. Heavy eggs slow you, so plan the trip home before you grab.
Which biome should I steal from first?
Start in Meadow Ridge where there are no guardians, then move to the Lake and Desert as your Speed allows. Each step up unlocks better egg pools but tougher guardians, so only advance when your Speed comfortably clears the 2x safety margin.
