Limited pets are the ones you can only get during a window. Some are confirmed in-game; others are community reports. Here is the line between the two.

Confirmed: event pets
The clearest limited pet is the Crane, exclusive to the Cherry Blossom region and the only pet that feeds the Great Bloom event when given to the Cherry Blossom Tree. It is limited by region and event, not by luck — see our Crane guide. The Bloom mutations it unlocks are the real prize.
Limited windows
Most limited pets appear during Admin Abuse events or update windows, when spawn and mutation rates spike. The rule is simple: if it is tied to a dated event, farm it during the window — it will not be farmable the same way afterwards.
Community reports vs confirmed
Some community guides name themed "brainrot" limited pets (examples like Strawberry Elephant or Bananita Dolphinita) from past events. We list those as unverified community reports, not confirmed game data — treat any specific name as something to verify in-game before you trade on it. Our pet tier list only ranks pets we can confirm.
